Meet Dr. Katie McCalley DC, MS, CCSP
Dr. Katie McCalley currently holds 5 degrees: a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University, a second Bachelor of Science Degree as well as a Masters Degree in Sport Science and Rehabilitation and a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree all from Logan University, and her CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician) through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. Dr. Katie graduated as the valedictorian of her Master's Degree class earning highest honors, summa cum laude.
Dr. Katie is originally from Indianapolis, IN, but considers Pagosa Springs her true home. She loves being involved with the Pagosa Springs community. She currently sits on the Board for the Chamber of Commerce, she volunteers with various organizations around the Pagosa Springs area, she provides chiropractic care at the summer Pagosa Springs Rodeo events, and she is very involved with our Pagosa Springs High School athletes. Dr. Katie specializes in extremity adjusting, a special niche in the chiropractic profession. She caters to an active and athletic population with her sports-related degrees and extremity work. She successfully treats a variety of both work and play-related injuries throughout the entire body. In addition to her extremity work, she does craniosacral work which is very effective in the treatment of headaches, allergies, sinus pressure, and TMJ dysfunction, to name a few. Additionally, Dr. Katie specializes in the treatment of pregnant and pediatric patients, after completing an internship in this field. After completing her chiropractic schooling, Dr. Katie developed an extremity adjusting seminar series called Extremity Evolution. She now travels all over the country and internationally teaching extremity adjusting techniques to other chiropractic doctors and students around the world.
